PM to Give $100,000 to the Cambodian Team if it Advances to the AFC Championship

Phnom Penh:  Prime Minister Hun Sen has announced to donate $100,000 to the Cambodian national team if they will make it to the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers. This was the announcement during the live program of the Football Federation of Cambodia last night.

The Cambodian team has defeated the Guam national team 1-0 in Bahrain played 12:30 am on Sunday (Cambodia time). The second leg of the game will be held in the same venue on 12 October.

The 2023 Asian Championships is the 18th edition of the Asian men's international football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). China will host the event from 16 June to 16 July 2023.
